Even ceramic tiles on the ground level that sit over concrete directly connected to the earth are acceptable for grounding. However, this will work only if the concrete, ceramic tiles or bricks aren't sealed with paint, asphalt, tar, tarmac, vinyl, or wood.

- Sand.
- Gravel.
- Rock.
- Unsealed brick.
- Bodies of water (like the ocean, lakes, and streams)
